? A bump is just when you post a new post in the thread. The thread moves to the top of the page. You can bump your other threads. Just keep in mind, if your post is not constructive, don't bump it for at least 12 hours.
That pretty much sums it up. Don't 'bump', ie create new posts in your thread unless they contribute more information.
