How do I change my IP

    when its on automatic does it display the gateway ip?
    it could also be 192.168.0.1 what did you use to get on to your router?

    No it doesn't show it. Should I go to Command Prompt and find it? Andd what do you mean by get onto my router?

    how did you get on to your router to change the portforwarding? (I use 192.168.1.1 to access my router)

    very strange that seems more like your internal ip can you try entering 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1 into your web browser?

    ok good that should be your router and the username and password from before should work as long as it wasn't changed (which you should do for security)

    So I use that for default gateway?
    EDIT: Be back at 7 taking a break.

    yes if you are able to log in that means its your router and you should put that as the gateway :)

    It made my internet crash...had to set it back to auto. :\ Can you explain what I'm supposed to do from the start? (if you have some time)

    hmm try a different ip how about 192.168.1.24 for your static ip

    Ok, that didn't crash my Internet, now how do I know if it works? like with Minecraft?
    EDIT: Never mind crashed when I closed the page
