Host your plugins for free!

Hey guys,
I currently own a Dedicated Server with 'unlimited' bandwidth and traffic. I thought to myself, why let people upload their mods/plugins to sites that may one day delete them? I didn't like that. I also HATE the fact that other sites make you wait to download their files.

I have created a simple upload page on my server, where you can upload as many files as you like and the people who receive the download link, can download it super-fast and with no delay. I am not trying to make money from this, I am just trying to help out the community overall.

Might want to restrict access to the delete button.

 

Please dont take this the wrong way, but if one person expliots your "I admin it when I have the time" server, then they gain access to and can add backdoors and other bad things to every one you have hosted. Also, what about bandwidth, uptime, etc?

Your hearts in the right place, but my personal recommendation is that people use drop-box accounts (Get them: http://google.com/search?q=referral+links#/kjj7vpt ). They are free, the people who maintain the servers get paid to keep it secure (and can lose thier jobs if they get powned) , its very usefull and allows you to update your build immediately without lag, and as such, I think it would be much more secure than a server maintianed by one guy in his spare time.
