I could use help with my server. My PC froze and I had to to a hard reboot. I now get the following errors when launching my server. I appreciate your help.

The error is in the world save file.
Try to reinstall bukkit if you dont want to start a new world
But this should go over i had it one time to, was over in 1 day

 

I have tried that. Also when I try to log into the server I can't and get 17:45:51 [INFO] Read timed out

 

I also have this problem and have tried many, many different solutions. I've been working on this for the past 5 hours. So far if you use MCedit to repair your world it works when using the normal MC server (For me atleast) however, the Bukkit server still does not work. It spams my CmdPrmt with chunks messages continuously.

Edit: MCedit fixed it for me. I forgot about the Nether. My error seemed to be in the Nether so I used MCedit to fix it.

 

Got it working there was 1 bad region file. Found it through trial and error. Server rebuilt the region (which doesn't mesh at all now but it's running. How do you fix it with MCedit?

Edit: Ok found the repair feature in MCedit but I think it changed my biomes or something because now I have Ice spawning in all the water. I think this is server wide.

Edit 2: Also all new chunks being generated don't mesh with the current ones. This happens with both fixes.

That advice is stupid! His world is obviously corrupt, reinstalling bukkit won't work.

He needs Chunkster or just delete his world.

 

well reinstalling bukkit might fix the gzip problems, not the chunk errors.

 

I wasnt on the corrupt world yet but i might help first and than you should go further to chunkster
Sometimes it helps to just reinstall bukkit (it worked one time with me)

How to remove a SINGLE item from player inventory?

 

You'll have to stop the sever, get InvEdit, use InvEdit to navigate to your server world folder, then "players" then choose the playername.dat file. Remove the item in InvEdit, save and done!

 

Forgot to say that I need to do this in bukkit plugin.

 

Use OpenInv while they are online.
