Help with Essentials and Pex

The prefixes won't show up in chat, It just says <"Faction" "Player">. Here is the essentials and pex file.

Everyone has permissions but no prefix.

You have removed the chat formatting section of your Essentials config.

 

I didn't know that mattered because I was using the permissions ex prefix... I removed it when the prefixes stopped working.

Put it back. If you have essentialschat, that will effect it.

I had this issue a long time ago...

I had to redo my entire essentials config. Basically I had done something wrong and it would pickup everything fine, and pass through a YAML parser perfectly, but it WOULD NOT read the essential chat part.

I would let HelpfulBeast see what he can find, but keep this in mind if we can't find a solution!

 

I did? It said it skipped 64 lines due to a limit of 30/s but, I don't know what to do about that...

I can re-do the essentials file no problem. As long as it fixes the problem...

I see your issue. See the 'chatSetFormat' in that file? Set it to false.

This means you will be configuring the format in your essentials file.

I made this the format and it's still not showing up:

Stop and restart your server, make sure it is loading properly.
I'd also like to see what your EssentialsChat file looks like, and what the output looks like in-game.
(Make sure you changed what I told you to in the mcore conf.)

Kohrt Look at the /plugins, You do not have EssentialsChat installed.

Also, you put ractions instead of factions in factions_nameforce tag

And no, EssentialsChat is a different Jar.

You mean it was working before you did something? Did you install a plugin? I noticed a plugin failed to load on your startup log.
