   I have been trying for hours this tutorial:

   but I have the same error over and over and over and over. If someone is kind enough to help me, that would be so appreicated.

   I could never get git to work with my eclipse either. Eventually i just ended up learning the terminal commands http://try.github.io/levels/1/challenges/1 , and do it manually. Its not too hard
   
   Later, I switched to IntelliJ and its github integration worked perfectly for me.
