    This is the Runecraft mod ported to the CraftBukkit server.

    Runecraft adds magic spells to the game which are triggered by block patterns called runes.
    It let's you create teleporter and waypoint runes for instant travelling, build hidden doors into mountain walls or enchant your tools. And more.

    The config file is named "disabled-runes.txt" and lies in the root bukkit folder (alongside etc.).
    The file is generated if you load the plugin. Each line contains an option which is either the name of a blacklisted rune, the name of a player not allowed to use runes, or a specific command. Some commands are:
    • whitelist - turns the rune blacklist into a whitelist
    • enable multiworld travel - allows teleportation using runes between different worlds
    • initiation - players cannot use runes until they activate a special rune containing bedrock

    Bukkit's Permissions:
    Runecraft supports Bukkit's permission system since version 2.8.2. Use a permissions plugin such as PermissionsBukkit, bPermissions or PermissionsEx.
    Runecraft currently has the following permission nodes:
    runecraft.*                        - gives .teleport and .runes
    runecraft.teleport                 - must be true to allow any teleportation runes
    runecraft.runes                    - gives permission for all runes
    runecraft.runes.powerpick          - gives both .activate and .use
    runecraft.runes.powerpick.activate - gives permission to bind Power Pick rune
    runecraft.runes.powerpick.use      - gives permission to use a rune-enchanted tool
    (Replace 'powerpick' with the name of any other rune)
    'runecraft.teleport' must be given to allow any form of Runecraft teleportation (Teleporter, Personal Teleporter and Recall runes).

    All users have 'runecraft.*' by default. If your permissions plugin doesn't have negative permissions, you have to overwrite the default to disable all runes, and then enable the runes you want with your permissions plugin. To disable all Runecraft permissions by default, open the file plugins/Runecraft/config.yml and change permissions.teleport and permissions.runes to false:

    You can use AttributeProviders to connect the Permissions plugin with Runecraft. You can also connect any other Permissions-like plugin with Runecraft, if there is an AttributeProvider for it.
    Runecraft currently has the following permission nodes:
    • 'runecraft.teleport' - allows or blocks any teleportation (Teleporter, Personal Teleporter and Recall runes)
    • 'runecraft.rune.<name of rune>' - allows use of that rune. 'runecraft.rune.*' allows all runes.
      For example: 'runecraft.rune.phantomtorch', 'runecraft.rune.personalteleporter'.

    I also am having issues with PowerPick in 1.2.4 everything else tested seems to be working fine.

    Downloaded Craftbukkit 1.2.4 build #2124 and power pick is working again. Also for certain Teleport/waypoints, and chronotrigger are working as well.

    Really like it !

    I've got 2 questions though:
    1. Is there a rune reference sheet ?
    2. Could you make an option that phantom torches can appear on blocks, replacing non-solid snow ? Because when I run through snow biomes, the torch doesn't follow me.
    If you add that, this plugin would be perfect !

    One thing that would be really helpful is if you contacted the Dev of CraftBukkitUpToDate and had your plugin added to their list. ^_^, While this is one of the plugins I would go out of my way to download manually- It's a lot of hassle. Especially when there are smaller mods that just don't get updated, that I need to find replacements for. =p

    Anyway, awesome mod. My only suggestion would be, the ability to make your own runesets, at least easily. xD

    I just can't seem to get the Chrono Trigger to work. It's up near the top of the map, it's got the gold facing north, and there's nothing above it. When I try to do it, nothing happens. No error, no message, no change of time. Got any idea what might be wrong?

    PEX is fine. It uses Bukkit's new permissions system (enable "superperms" in its config file if it isn't).

    Hi, I think I can shed some light on the Chrono Trigger not working

    Did a little testing and found that it seems to still use old north regardless of settings in config.

    Tested this with Build 1.2.4-R1.0 and 1.2.5-R1.0

    How do I enable this this? Currently my PEX config looks like this;

    I don't know what's causing this but it seems that the permissions are working ONLY for multiple word Runes. Which is extremely annoying. Example; Endurance works fine but bottomless cauldron won't work.

    I'm still having issues with the permissions.
    You said it has changed now in config but the config is still the same and there is no info anywhere.
    I have it so set:

    Default group:
    other group:

    But the player isn't be able to use multishot.
    And the config looks like this:

    runes: false
    Also tried to set it to true true but that din't make any difference :S

    In my experience, negative permissions don't work well in PEX. Try without the "-runecraft.runes.*"

    That doesn't change anyting.
    I double checked and i setted the config to false.
    And then i gave a group runecraft.runes.fairyboots
    But it's not letting them use the rune.
    When i give myself runecraft.* i can use all runes though..

    When I start my bukkit server with Runecraft 2.11.1, it prints this line at startup:
    [INFO] [Runecraft] Loading Runecraft v0.12

    Why version 0.12????

    And also, your plugin.yml is missing alot of stuff compared to the one from v.2.11.1

    I am running version 2.12, and I am still having an issue with the power pick, hoe, shovel and axe. The permissions are there for them, (I am running Bpermissions) so I have no idea why my players cannot use them. Have you any idea as to the root of my problem?

  31. Where is the runeinfo saved in the files, I converted my old world to Anvil and now those teleporters dont work!?
