    Say goodbye to the days of safety inside your night shelters. Zombies will target the closest player and break through any block on the configuration list to get to them. Even if your above or below them the have the knowledge to break the right blocks to find your delicious brains! Permissions support is already included, as well as WorldGuard protection support. Forked from JoeJoeMcBean's original zombieattack. Only Permissions are zombieattack.user.enabled.

    • Zombies break blocks to get to your brains.

    • Permissions support enabled else defaults to OP

    • WorldGuard block protection is enabled
    • Config.yml set blocks to be breakable/unbreakable
    • Permissions are zombieattack.user.enabled or zombieattack.user*

    I found that the zombies really hate when I have /vanish on from the Administrate plugin. That is the only thing that I've been able to replicate successfully. It probably stems from the "No Aggro" part of it, and the zombie targets you over and over again because of the mod, or I assume so.

    Edit:

    No, I'm wrong. Still got a LOT of these errors when I was off all day. The lack of error handling makes this mod sloppy, and the dev. is spending time working on something else. Looks like we got a dead-one folks.

    Just giving you a heads up, there are some massive CPU spikes from this plugin. I've got a few screenshots that I've gotten from running ZombieCraft and ZombieAttack together. ZombieCraft, by itself, doesn't cause too much of an imprint on the server. When throwing in ZombieAttack, however, all hell breaks loose.

    Initial start-up. Unusual spike the moment the server is up, zombie-craft has not been enabled yet, and it is daytime (so no zombies).

    The moment I start up ZombieCraft (apocalypse mode on), CPU sky-rockets.

    [​IMG] CPU is reaching its peak at some points, there is a very noticable lag on the server. (roughly half a second)

    I restart the server after removing ZombieAttack, CPU drops back to its normal 1-3%. It's very easy to tell where the restart happens.


    Hope this can be resolved, as a lot of people are enjoying combining this plugin with ZombieCraft. :/

    Hrm. Any chance that the CPU footprint on this can be reduced some? I'm running a test server on a I7 8x core system with 4 gigs of RAM and i can spawn 30 zombies on my server with only a jump of maybe 1-4% CPU usage overall. After loading up this plugin and doing the same, all 8 processors peg at 100% and I start getting the infamous, "The server cannot keep up" messages.

    Hoping we can find a fix for that. I would LOVE to use this on my MMO server! :)

    fix it so zombies arent complete morons like normally xD make them be able to follow a path built in the sky to reach its target it would follow the path or learn to jump at the right times for like 1-2 block distances or just make it so they float over 1-2 block distances or something i dont like how they just fall xD or they dont find their own paths up to reach you if someone is like floating above them when there is a easy way down like stairs to it lol, sorry for my bad punctuation and junk lol xD

    Hey, me and a friend had a pretty cool idea.
    Can you make it so that multiple zombies can break harder blocks, such as 20 zombies are needed to break obsidian, but only 1 is needed to break glass?

    Starting a zombie apocalypse server and was hoping someone would come out with something like this.

    I have to agree with Clucky is there a chance for some multi world support. I'm really sorry I know its not going to go on the mod right away as these things take time and your busy. However if you could let us know about this at your earliest convince that would be great.

    Sounds awesome. My only question is:
    - Does it have Multi-World Support?
    (I realized this had already been asked after I posted, though I still found no answer)

    I have a world dedicated to survival and only want that world to have zombies that can break barriers. More specifically a certain area (I'm recreating a similar version of Call of Duty: World at War Nazi Zombies)

    Don't know if it was conflicting with other plugins but it seems like i only see like 3 zombies a night even thought i Just run around 0.o But other than that i love the plugin keep up the good work

    I was in on some discussion and work on this back in the 7xx versions.

    The lag is from this plugin spawning a ridiculous number of threads when a zombie is on flat ground with their target. I tried a few of my own fixes but then the RB got updated and broke the plugin.

    So in short it's a mass-thread-spawning issue, not some conflict with another plugin. You'll have to look at the 'is there anything between the zombie and the target' coding and add something more zealous like 'No? Don't spawn another thread for x cycles.'

    I got zombies that can break through dirt and cobblestone.
    I need spiders who can break Glass and peel away wood board. :)
    I need Skelly who can Break Glass and and shatter cobblestone.

    Now if only you can allow us to do this for Mo Creatures. :D

    I can only agree! While the endermen have been a real lame griefgroup implementation those wall-breaking zombies are just fantastic and refreshing!

    Also I agree with Vorna - being able to expand the breaking- and hunting abilities to other mobs, too, would just be fantastic!
    However, this plugins doesnt seem abandoned but (infected) seems to lack internet access!Lets press thumbs!

    This plugin has a great future and steps into a gap Mojand wont fill. (btw mostly working on CB1323 or us)
