Even wanted to chuck a grenade at your inferior-looking house in minecraft? Now you can!

Features:

• Eggs can now be grenades!
• Toggle-able command to turn on and off grenades.

Usage:

1. Have access to 'egg.renade' (if permissions is enabled) or be an op (if the server doesn't have permissions)
2. Type '/grenade' to toggle on egg grenades.
3. Throw an egg or two at your target and watch as the egg explodes a couple seconds after impact! (Be careful where you're aiming!)

Permission Node:
- egg.renade
This permission node gives access to '/grenade'.

- egg.moltov
This permission nod gives access to '/moltov'.

Todo:

• Optional 'Cool down'
• Require you to buy grenades (iConomy support)
• Logging to server who threw a grenade and where

Could you possibly make it so you can choose what item is the grenade? or can it only be thrown items... in that case can you make it toggle able between snowball and egg?

 

Only throwable items would work and snowballs aren't supported yet by bukkit for plugins like this.

Just confirmed: This plugin works with CB766

(Next release WILL have iConomy support and Lightning grenades -- what should I call them?)

Can you make it so you can pay all money to a single account?
That would be nice.
Also, if dispensers will be able to shoot grenades... how will iConomy work?

Lightning grenades? Flashbangs.

 

I don't think dispensers will be in the next release, but if they were, I guess dispensers would have owners or something...

Hey, just wanted to say that we have been using your plugin on our server since build 733 i think and it still works flawlessly with #820, so thank you very much for this awesome plugin.

 

Eggrenade is malfunctioning. I cannot turn off /grenade. Even though it says "eggrenade disabled" There is still an explosion. When I set it to /moltov, there are still explosions. The explosion seems to be sometimes offset 10-20 blocks away from the grenade impact zone.

It was working perfectly until I deleted my main "world" and allowed the server to generate a new "world".

I would like to see the ability to disable drops from the eggrenade explosion. It would also be cool if there were an adjustable cooldown between throws.

 

The only problem we have so far is that eggrenades go off in areas with TNT = deny flag (WorldGuard).
They don't explode (no sound) but player damage goes through.

this was amazing, can you make one that turns a snowball into a smoke grenade. just have it spawn a bunch of smoke.

 

Could you make a smoke bomb (using egg), with configurable radius and duration?
That would be so awesome

 

This is good, but using the TNT its too powerful to be a grenade IMO. any chance in getting tune-able blast radius via the config?

 

Could you make the grenade like a smokebomb instead?

GREAT plugin, its perfect with the War plugin.
But i need Grenades and Molotovs at the same time.
Thats why you should add Snowballs as Moltov Cocktails!!!

i like this, and it works as expected but i want an option to turn off the physical damage and have only the concussive force. i want this for pvp and not levelling towns. is this possible?

 

This plugin was awesome, I can't find anything like it that works in CB1000. There's ones to do ghast fireballs, but I can't find a way to make them have a big damage radius.

Plenty of ammo types (all throwable), firing ammo from a dispenser cannon, also includes a "gun" concept with reloading.

 

This plugin is awesome and there is no alternative, i think. Pleease, can you support BukkitPermissions and Bukkit 1185?
I installed it, but in Rooms, sometimes eggs exploded and sometimes not. In the wild, almost every egg exploded.

 

I think Sunkid has an alternative. See the post above yours (not sure if that's it, but likely).

 

Can you please update this plugin to R6? I think this thread is dead, but let's try, right?

How coincidental that someone post today. I was just remembering this plugin, and was planning to update it. Haven't done anything with bukkit for a bit, so it might be few days before an initial re-release is available.

Says Grenage toggled or whatever but when i throw n egg it doesnt blow up.

 

What release of craftbukkit are you using? Are you using any plugins that would prevent explosions?

 

I have the same problem, I have bukkit 1.2.3R2 betabuild, and explosions work i tried tnt with the switch
