    just for the developers' sake if you are having an error basically assume that they are going to fix it in the next update. I believe that other people are having this error as well and the developer said it will be fixed in the next update.

    Players on server are reporting sleeping does not work after I loaded up NPCs. Could they possibly be being treated as "awake" players when the server checks to see if everyone is sleeping before passing the night? If so, could NPCs just be flagged as "sleeping"?

    That's a pretty useless bug report. You'll need to paste the error, and include at the very least your bukkit version, and citizens version..

    I'm having a really weird problem. I can't select my npc. I heard from Xemnas33 that you can choose the item you want to select the npc's with by editeding the config. But my config does not have that option. basicly im asking someone to just give me there config. Thanks :D

    Citizens 1.07i doesn't work with iConomy 5.... read the last few pages of posts before you post :)

    I know that when you are programming stuff it can be VERY difficult to estimate time
    frames for things but im just wondering how long i should stall my friends from
    coming on the server. about what day will you guys (assuming you don't run into any problems) think the next version of this plugin will be released? (and if you can't come up with a definate answer something like "this week" would be fine)

    You guys better hurry up if this does not come out with a stable version that is up to date with iconomy 5 within im guessing a month, your going to have to deal with release 1.6, no pressure or anything, just waited so long JUST for you to update to be able to have this on my 1.5 server, would not want to wait another month or two for a version that works.

    And Sorry i did not realize this was not going to work with iconomy 5, you should also update your release paragraph of what it is compatible with, and change the iconomy version it works with, not very fun reading through 77 pages of posts

    I have bukkit build 740
    iConomy v. 5.0
    and i installed citizens v 1.07i

    First of all, I'd like to thank you for this amazing plugin as too many plugin pages are full of problems and no thanks. Thank you!

    Now for why I replied: You took off guards from the title. Does this mean they're finished, or did you give up on them? If you did finish, how can I create one? If you did not, awww, but good luck on the traders!

    I keep seeing these issues with the latest Citizens (1.07i), but I haven't had ANY issues with them. Granted, I haven't flooded my server with NPC's yet, but I never got any of the errors you guys have been reporting. My guess is that you haven't installed the plugin properly. BTW, I've had at least 10 npc's spawned at the same time with little lag, if any at all. Just for the fun of it, I'm going to spawn about 10 more and see what happens.

    There is one thing that I did. I deleted the entire Citizens folder and uploaded the new folder in the zip file with the server STOPPED. I then made the necessary changes in the config file and added my existing npc's. I restarted the server and all went well. I also tried creating other npc's with NO ISSUES or ERRORS. So I don't know what you guys are doing wrong. I do have Essentials Economy instead of iConomy running. Maybe that could be an issue. I tried the latest Essentials iConomy plugin that tricks other plugins into thinking you have iConomy, but it failed on a few of my plugins. But get this, it worked with Citizens. Go figure.....lol.

    Anyways, try my little trick when installing and see if it helps. :)

    My suggestions
    The ability to make npcs walk randomly
    The ablitiy to make npcs attack
    A list of npcs and there id
    Mob npcs like zombies that talk
    Npc's that can be killed
    i hope you like and maybe add these :D

    Got this error when im trying to add a npc.
    Im using the latest Bukkit version.
    Installed plugins:
    Citizens 1.7i
    Essentials 2.2
    Runecraft 2.6.1

    Usually the latest versions.

    Hi there,
    I have about 35 npcs on my server but have removed citizens from it for this reason:
    Mobs treat npcs as players so try to attack them. On my server i have some npcs near mob spawners for various role play reasons ect. but since they now count as players, they set off all the mob spawners and when i go to them, they have mobs loaded in different chunks which try to attack the npcs, but since they have no health they cant die so theres a big pile of mobs attacking them when i go to them. This eventually caused some lag on my server.

    my questions are:

    1. Will this NPC = PLAYER ENTITY stay forever, im guessing this will be for the Guards when implemented.
    2. If so, will there be an option somewhere in the config to treat npcs how they were before?

    3. How was my first post? lol
