Friendly mobs don't spawn

    In my server friendly mobs don't spawn. When it's night the hostile mobs spawn and when I started the server there were mobs but you cant find any mobs now. How to respawn all mobs?

    Did you heavily use worldedit?? that made my peaceful mobs go away
