I doubt there's any free 24/7 host for Minecraft / Bukkit. But at https://freeminecrafthost.com/ you can have a 5 slot server I think but it will stop as the server get empty. You may want to take a look at https://minefold.com/ too!

 

but who neets an 24/7 server. Nobody plays at 04 clock. So when you want to have a free Server, you only have a chance that you find a server witch isn't always on and only for 10 players or lower.

 

You'd be surprised, also, timezones will affect that.

 

I can't leave my computer on, so I require a 24/7. Besides, an always-up server is more fun

 

There is no incentive for someone to run a hosting company and not charge. There are to many costs to running a profession hosting company to charge nothing.

 

Traffic would be the only thing, google offers a fair bit of money on domains with large traffic. (like, insane..)
