Plugin category: Fun/Misc Suggested name: VIPCompass What I want: The first part is simple. All I would like is a plugin that alters the compasses use; it now points to the nearest player. This plugin would only affect a person or group with the correct permission node (vipcompass.use). The second part gets a little bit more complex. I am using this plugin for VIP's. In this way, I want a command like /compass. This will give the player a compass that points to the nearest player. This command would require a permissions node like compass.use . However, if the user currently has a compass in their inventory, I DO not want them to be able to use the command. Also, I want to make it so that the user cannot share this compass by dropping it. It is very important that the user can only use the command when he currently does not have a compass and that he cannot share it. Ideas for commands: /compass - Gives a player who has the proper permissions a compass. Ideas for permissions: vipcompass.use - Allows the player to use /compass, and allows the compass to point to the nearest player. When I'd like it by: Within a week would be nice, but I am in no rush. Thank you, I am fairly sure this is a simple plugin. Mike
Someone made a version of this but its for hunger games so it say [HungerGames] and tracks any player within a configureable distance but anyone can do it no permission nodes needed
The sole difference of this one is that it completely relies on permission nodes and must not be able to be shared.
I posted a request like this yesterday with no luck, can you plz let me know if you find or if somone makes a plugin like this?

One thing: Is there a permission for who and who can't use it? Thats the thing I need most. For other players who don't have the permission, the compass won't be able to track. Thank you!
