Hi there! I was wondering how to throw a rope from a fishing rod using the PlayerInteractEvent. For example, while right clicking a Blaze Rod, it would throw a rope. Thanks!

"ropes" don't exist in Minecraft. I fail to see what you're attempting to accomplish... by default, "hooking" any mob with a fishing rod will pull that Entity in your direction.

I know that legit ropes don't exist, but would there be a way to throw a Fishing Rod Rope (like a throwable entity)

    1) Aim at mob
    2) Right click with fishing rod
    3) ????
    4) profit.

He doesn't want to use a normal fishing rod.

I don't think this is possible. You could create some sort of entity (maybe a falling block) and attach a rope to it like a horse and set a certain velocity to the block.

and why not? He asked how to throw a rope, I gave him instructions on how to do so.

Now, what he fails to do is specify.

Does he want the rope to be attached and the mob controllable like a leash?

Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.

The question isn't stupid. He's trying to figure out how to use the fishing rod entity without actually using a fishing rod.

The answer is no, you probably can't do that.
