   So when ever a gast shoots a fire ball the fire wont go away can anyone tell me how to make the fire disapate. btw the fire is on a nether block so i dont know if its possible.

   ghast fireballs seems to be a glitch in 1.8 time and again that visually remains. However, if you mean the fireball image is gone, but the surrounding blocks that have ignited are on fire, that is the nature of netherrack - it burns infinitely.
   
   If you want to alter the effect of ghast fireballs, a plugin like worldguard or essentialsprotect, if you already have either of them, can be configured to change a variety of ghast fireball behaviors - block damage, player damage, firespread etc
