---> I have 3 worlds on the server (world, plotworld and Factions), I want to enable factions only on Factions world (Disable it completly on world and plotworld)?? ---> How can I fix the faction chat? When I create a faction nothing happens. There is no "prefix" and nothing. How can i add the non-messy faction prefix? (Like that ~Faction) PLEASE HELP PEOPLE!
1. Not possible. Multi-world support isn't given with Factions. Trust me, I want it too. 2. Try deleting your conf.json and letting it regenerate.
Ahh damnit, I rlly want a faction world... And this thing of deleting conf.json didnt work ShootToMaim
Wait, what? It's completely possible. There are config settings where you can enter the name of a world and it disables the listed features in it. It's at the bottom of the config, I believe. Cacau_2000
/f config worldsNoClaiming world /f config worldsNoClaiming plotworld "worldsNoClaiming”: [], – prevents factions from claiming land in these worlds “worldsNoPowerLoss”: [], – prevents power loss on death in these worlds “worldsIgnorePvP”: [], – Factions will completely ignore PvP damage in these worlds “worldsNoWildernessProtection”: [] – any wilderness protection options you have set will be ignored in these worlds
"No configuration set for worldsNoWildernessProtection" @tommy210 And now how do I fix the chat thingy? CorruptedHelix EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
You have to add [FACTION] in ur chat format.. format: '<[FACTION] {DISPLAYNAME}> {MESSAGE}' or if you're using 1.8.x above follow the tags here http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/factions/files/38-1-7-5-beta/
OHHHHH OKAAAAY tommy210 tommy210 last question... Which one of the two? format: '<[FACTION] {DISPLAYNAME}> {MESSAGE}' #format: '&7[{GROUP}]&r {DISPLAYNAME}&7:&r {MESSAGE}' EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Seems like you're new to yml, I'll give a bit of lesson here.... # = You can say its a description... So, add it in the one without #
But now there is a big prefix '[FACTION] [OWNER] SuperC2000: tommy210 EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
This means you're runnning 1.8.x above follow the tag here > http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/factions/files/38-1-7-5-beta/
No.. This {faction_relcolor} - replaced by relation color (red for enemy, green for member, white for neutral, etc.) {faction_roleprefix} - replaced by role prefix (** for faction leader, * for faction officer, nothing otherwise) {faction_title} - replaced by faction title if one exists {faction_tag} - replaced by faction tag if the player is in a faction, or nothing if factionless {faction_tagforce} - replaced by faction tag regardless of whether in a faction or not Note that additional formatting can be applied by appending one of the formats listed in "chatSingleFormats". For example, to have the faction tag listed with right padding (extra " " space to right of faction tag if present), you would use the tag {faction_tag_pr}. To have the faction tag left-padded, it would similarly be {faction_tag_pl}.
