I know there is other posts of this on just about every Minecraft site ever, But nothing seems to be working. So as a last resort I came here. Does anyone know how to enable faction tags in the chat? Before you ask yes I have MCore.
Factions does not have chat built-in (anymore). You have to use a chat plugin like EssentialsChat. I use that as well as FactionChat on top of that.
In your minecraft Server folder, locate the mstore folder. Go there, and go to the factions_mconf folder. Open the instance.json file with notepad or Notepad++ then find chatSetFormat and set it from false to true.
