    1) I un-comment buy signs in config
    2) I correctly format Buy signs in game (I know this because [Buy] is blue)
    3) I right click the sign and nothing happens

    (I get this error: http://imgur.com/kIDSLWF)

I am using the EssentialsAintiBuild version Pre2.11.1.2
I am running the latest 1.5 version of Tekkit.
I am using the latest version of BukkitForge

Please paste your console messages to http://www.pastebin.com/
Also, for the sign, you don't do '&1[Buy]' You just do '[Buy]'

How might I go about doing that? I thought I had to have forge for my server to run plugins.

no, forge is for mods, test plugins on a regular bukkit server.

Okay I am now using mcpc+ instead of ForgeBukkit (much better for bukkit plugins on a server using mods).
The /back on deathpoint now works (posted a thread about it a few days ago) but essentials buy signs are still not working. The buy signs are uncommented and [Buy] is blue but when I try right clicking the sign, this shows up in my log:

xMachoMancha v2 broken MCPC+ bukkit method, exactly the reason why i told you to test this on a NORMAL bukkit server, not mcpc+ or forgebukkit, due to issues from mods like this.
