Essentials Sign Help w/ Books

I am running a bukkit server, and was wondering if there was a way to put written books in essentials [Free] signs. This would be like a rule book, where people would be able to get unlimited ammounts. Is this possible? If not, I have a plugin that automatically give the books, but I rather have them get it manually. Thanks!
