    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​

    Description
    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    Looking for the old version that runs on CraftBukkit 1000? We don't have it anymore :( Here's an archive of the old help post. If you're a new user, we REALLY recommend using Multiverse 2..

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:
    This server is running Craftbukkit version git-Bukkit-0.0.0-980-g4ed23b1-b1060jnks (MC: 1.7.3)
    Please check that this version is the same as one of those in the title of the post.

    Quick question:
    Can this plugin allow use of more than 2 worlds?
    Because some of my players want to return to the old world and fetch their old stuff.
    So can I have like? earth + terra + nether working at the same time?

    AFAIK MultiVerse supports hundreds of worlds at once (if your server can handle it)
    That aside 3 is no problem, I have 5 going at the minute

    Don't know if this is possible, but I think it would be a great feature if you could define in general or maybe even for each world individually if you can take you invetory with you when you travel from one world to the other. Maybe the current inventory even could be saved per world and returned to you, when you come back to a world ?
    The reason why I got this idea is that I have a server with a creative world with a load of plugins and permissions and then also some adventure maps where nobody has special permission or can span stuff. But you still can bring a lot of stuff with you when you travel to the world, so people still can "cheat" a lot if they wnat to.
    What do you thing ? I think that would be awesome :)

    He means if you are using an alternative to Permissions (such as Groupmanager) then you will not get support as only Permissions 2.7.2 by yeti accepted by the plugin

    Dunno, could you post your startup log from the run command to "DONE" (on pastebin please)

    iv noticed that i can change the time in the main world, but when im on the other ones it dosnt let me change the time of day... is therea way to fix that?

  21. Actually no, you're not the same problem, your error is on line 212. You're about the 6th person to report it and if you can tell me how to reproduce it I'll try and fix it, I'll also give you a cookie.

    If you search this thread, Rigby does talk about this issue, so maybe I'll go review that also...

    Interesting... Have you done a restart? I'll keep looking at this. Maybe you could hop in irc #multiverse.

    how can i reinstall permissions to correct the Permissions has not been found, or installed problem... do i need to get rid of the permissions folder and jar and then add jar again to get new permissions folder? U think that can work

    Its 3:30am here and I'm i don't have an irc client installed atm and i'm lacking the energy to install one :p But if it helps the console is now being spammed with these, they start gradually at first but then pretty much every couple of seconds. It must be when someone is in a different world and using chat.

    Well first check your server logs to see if there is an error stack from permissions as it will show you why permissions isn't loading

    I downloaded a map that somebody else built and imported it into multiverse but I seem to be out in the middle of nowhere. Is there a way to figure out my way around the map? or is this just a unfixable bug?

    Hi, I've started using this plugin, and so far so good, except when people type /world, with no world name, it dumps them in random spots in the maps. I have used /mvsetspawn in each world and it seems to be ignoring the spawn point I set... any ideas?

    /spawn just puts the player back at the spawn point in my "Hub" world.
