    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​
    Current Version: 2.2-AB

    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

    That's awesome! What happens if you make two portals in-line with eachother a few blocks apart? Would you infinitely bounce from portal to portal?
  5. Haven't tested, but in theory, yes. The code's pushed, but I feel it needs a bit of tuning still. If you noticed I got hurt when getting rejected from the portal with leaves around it.

    Im having this issues again! If i remove the world from worlds file, it load. As soon as i import it, it crashes the server essentially, with the preparing statement and all people lose connection.

    any idea how to fix this? I ran chunker on it, but that didnt help.

    Whats weird is that I can load the world and open it in single player and mcedit..
    but its missing stuff from the level.dat as far as i can tell.

    I'm having the same exact problem, though it says "Preparing start region for level 6", not level 4. (If that makes a difference)
  10. This means the world is somehow bad. This is not multiverse. For example, try setting that world as primary in your server.properties.

    in 1.0 worlds don't really error anymore... they just hang...

    it does. it means bukkit/the minecraft server doesn't like your world #6. This is occurring a LOT lately, I think notch has some buggy chunk saving code...

    mcedit didnt work, it loaded fine, but import froze in mv, so i loaded it into single player and saved and gonna try that.

    Is this message related to Multiverse?
    Since I upgraded to the new craftbukkit builds and Multiverse recommended build, all my players are getting this error when they try to move to another world. Only ops can.

    I can't teleport them to me, they can't be teleported by a portal of Stargates plugin, neither with Multiverse portals.

    Sorry if I'm missing a permission but I'm a little lost, that was working very well before this update :/

    Yah! that worked.. one thing i noticed in the logs from yesterday, some how the seed changed...

    theres a couple new settings in the configs for both portals and core..
    specifically, "enforceaccess"

    Copied the world from my server, moved to my saves folder and ran around a bit in the map in single player. exited and saved.

    reuploaded to my server, imported it, changed the seed via worlds.yml, and then a mv reload.

    Use world edit to save a template of the building and paste it in another world. It helps tremendously to have WorldEditCUI so you can actually see what you're selecting.

  19. Yep just set the velocity. The hard part was determining which side of the portal they were on. :)


    For those of you waiting on an offical build. I'll say we won't have a release until Bukkit does, but the dev builds are pretty stable. From a fellow developer IRC:

  21. haha nah, not that long. Been a bit stressful, doing that stuff and working on MV. It's coming along. Just added Anchors.

    Hi all,
    is it Possible to protect a PORTAL with a Password like chest with lwc?
    Would be really great in case for RPG and the heros must first search the password to enter a new world.
    Any ideas how to implement that?

    Is there a way to make it so if i have 3 worlds, the inventories dont carry over? EG
    In creative world: 64 stack of diamond blocks
    Tele to Survival
    In survival: No 64 stack of diamond blocks

    So each world has its own inventory per player

    i have a qeustion about the permissions for building.
    Is there a permission for building? because i will make 1 freebuild world where somepeople can build
    but the other people only visit it and not build...

    is this possible?

    Is there some people with multiworld permissions (PEX) i need some help with it... PM me please :)

    MultiInv has not been updated in Months. I used it ever since we started using MultiVerse. Our server actually fixed one of the last bugs and the dev used the pull request. Although we loved it we now use WorldInventories (even has a MultiInv conversion) and has been running a lot better.
  30. Fyi there is a bug going around where a world just hangs on load. We're looking into it, but we have it marked as a bukkit bug atm (related to loading worlds).

    Please do NOT post this bug in the bukkit bug tracker. Once I determine it's not MV I will post it personally.

    I have posted a temp fix for people to try on the github page linked right above this. If you have a world that won't load because it freezes, please try that. If it does not work, pm me the world. I'll add it to my collection of "worlds to analyze".

    Thanks for the update. I had it happen again yesterday, but was unable to use the same method to get it working. fortunately im overly paranoid and do auto hourly backups. :)
