    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​
    Current Version: 2.2-AB

    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

    I generated a skylands map using this plugin and I have one question......

    Why doesn't it go night time in Skylands? even my admin /time night command that works in all other worlds has no effect in skylands

    any ideas?

    ive investigated this already and it seems that multiverse is the computerate for mobs no longer spawning at all in my server...any ideas? ik its possibly a pluggin fight but ive tested by removing all the ones that involve spawning at all and it all leads back to multiverse...
  5. you said you've disabled all that involve spawning. Try disabling all but permissions. Could you post your config if there are still no mobs?

    No idea, we're using partial notch code (like nether before it was offical, it had clouds and what not) so basically skylands is not a finished world type, think of it like a prototype.

    Note on this: MV1.x SHOULD have 0 more updates. When 2.X is released we will have a common link for people. I promise. Seriously.

    THIS post is all about Multiverse 2. It is not yet released, so please don't ask why the features discussed here are not working on Multiverse 1. This message is just so you guys don't think Rigby and I are complete slackers :) Seriously. MV2. It's coming. Be ready.

    Regarding Night time / weather not working in Skylands.....I just saw this latest change to Bukkit....perhaps this will fix it?

    Everytime I teleport to a world I tried to make with this, it jsut crashes the server. No errors, no nothing. Anybody know why?

    I only run 1 extra world as well as my main world and nether (so 3 in total). Maybe it's because i loaded a fresh map and it was generating new map all the time, i don't know, but If you can do it with 512mb, then I'm slightly worried. Also, the server still had around 300mb of RAM that was free and minecraft wasn't using..

    I also run 3 worlds and I'd have to agree with the fresh map theory, that always did cause lag no matter which world it was in
  11. Eh, all that's doing is adding a special type of Biome for Skylands. That will affect what trees grow there, what animals spawn and what color the grass is, but shouldn't affect the night/day. Regardless, I do believe that if night/day is not working in skylands it's a notch problem that the bukkit guys will fix before notch does (they always do) but it's not really anything MV can handle.

    Your configs look correct. One thing you could try (because I don't see one in your plugins list) is temporarially getting a mob spawn plugin (one that will let you spawn mobs on demand) and try spawning an animal.

    There will never be animals in the nether.
    The chickens in skylands is a known thing with MC.

    Nope. If there are no errors, I'm sure you can understand how basically impossible it is for us to help. Do some more tests (remove some other plugins, make sure you check your logs, etc.) and report back. Trust me. It's Java. It does NOT fail silently.

    What's the easiest way to make it so that whichever world my players die in, they always respawn in 'world'? Should I look for an external plugin to handle spawn points or...?

    Just because you have permissions in one world does not give you permissions in another
    So go to the permissions folder and create a new world folder matching the name of your new world, then copy the groups.yml and users.yml from your current world to your new world
    I assumed that you knew about setting up permissions since you must have done it at least once to get Multiverse running, hence a nudge in the right direction instead of a walk-though for quick and easy

    Well, it's not the kind of crash that would cause an error. When it happens, the console locks up and I can't type anything in it. Then ~45 seconds a "Read timed out" error pops up. I then need to go into System Monitor and kill java, then start it back up. I've done some more testing and it turns out this happens everytime you mistype a tp command.

  24. I have a world named "space", upload it on the separate folder in my server. How do I import the world to MultiVerse, cause the world is inaccesable.

    Yes, that will work, you might have to capitalise the normal though, if that fails post your worlds.yml and I'll do a manual add for you

    It does not have native support so use that Fake Permissions the GM team created to cross support
    Just don't complain if it causes problems as running a plugin outside of the recommended set-up is at your own risk
