    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​
    Current Version: 2.2-AB

    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

    Hey, so besides my stargate issue, I have a portal issue, when i create portals from two worlds, and walk through one of them, it doesnt make it appear in the other portal, just the same coordinates as the first world :confused: is this an error or did i do something wrong?

    Upgrade to Craftbukkit build 819 or 820. This is a problem with Bukkit.

    Is there a alternate solution to the issue until MV 2? Or is it gonna be out soon to where myself and I am sure others wont need to wait extremely long

    I don't know if this is a Bukkit bug, or in MV, or whatever it is.

    Even with mobs:false, we get monsters on our main world, this is with spawn-monsters=true in server .properties. And this is after hours, and multiple /butchers to clear all previously spawned mobs.

    Thing is, I can't replicate it on an empty server, then it seems to work ok :S

    Everytime I try to create a Nether world it automatically changes from the "NETHER" environment to "NORMAL" after a server restart, any ideas on how to fix this?
    before the server restart the world is nether through and in the worlds.yml file it still states the the environment is NETHER

    It's a bug in Craftbukkit. Update to build 820 to fix it.

    on my server mobs and animals dont work correctly...i have build 820 and the newest mv plugin...
    i have two worlds, on the first are mobs and animals disabled and on the second they are enabled but they doesnt spawn...
    sometimes if i type in the console /reload it seems to work but othertimes not.

    why does it not work???
    i tested serveral things but nothing worked.

    Everytime i travel through a portal, the chunk at the portal in the world i'm travelling to doesnt get loaded. I'm standing "on" this huge hole and can't move back or forth. I thought this bug was fixed in #819? I'm using #820 now and the error persists. Newest version of mv.

    You most likely have another mod that controls these things. Are you using PerformanceTweaks perchance? Its usually the most common cause.

    These mods are on my server: AppleSeed, BedHealAdvanced, bukkitpiston, commandiconomy, followfellow, getid, hookshot, iconomy, iconomychestshop, multiverse, oredetector, permissions, quickstrasse, selfclosingdoors, showcase, simpletips, unlimited lava, welcome message.

    What do you mean with "PerformanceTweaks perchance" ???

    I have this issue also sometimes. My mods are:
    BoundryKill, BukkitPiston, CommandBook, Help, iChat, MultiInv, MultiVerse, MyHome, MyWarp, Permissions, StarGate, WorldEdit, WorldGuard

    So the only ones we have in common are, BukkitPiston, permissions, and MultiVerse.
    Try killing off the first two and see if you still have the issue.

    Its being reported on my server that animals arn't spawning on our main world even though I have it set to true. Ive looked to see if maybe its some other plugin causing it but none of my other plugins mess with that stuff. I dont know if its affecting any of the other worlds on my server but it is for the main world. Has anyone else with this issue found a fix?

    We are working very hard at getting MV2 out. I know it may sound similar to Duke Nukem Forever, but I SWEAR It's coming along. Here's a treat for you:

    use type: SKYLANDS

    the new command in 1.7.2: /mvenvironments will tell you all valid ones.

    Are you on 820? There are bugs in 818 and 819 with SKYLANDS. And did you restart? If you did, and you're not on 820, then that's bad. Also Try walking to the edge, sometimes you get a large continent as your starting island.

    @Multiverse Any chance you drop in an option to tie worlds together? Something maybe that gives a a world a subworld. My hope is to have all of the portals in my main world tie to my main nether and then have another world with its own nether and maybe link a flat creative world's portals to a skyworld.

    I seem to be having an issue with a period in my server name (i.e. 'Name.Server). It keeps making a new world labeled 'Name".

    Also having issues getting splike to work, despite being set to 'true' nether portals created and not set up as mv portals lead to no where (portal animation kicks in, keeps going, server eventually crashes). Worked fine with other plugins in 1.6.6 prior to adding Multiverse.

    My last (and most minor) problem I'm having is with loading certain worlds, namely the Ghibli server save, which says it's trying to load/place tiles it cannot. I'm sure this has something to do with the save, but would be interested if you know anything on this issue (works fine in SP, so not corrupt).

    Needless to say, this is a great plugin and really adds a lot to SMP - thanks for all the work guys, I appreciate it.

    If your running PerformanceTweaks, be sure to disable mobs in that too.
    Other than that, I dunno.
