Question Edit/Change/Configure Knockback?

Hi family! c:

So I just wanted to know if there was any way I could edit/Configure in-game knockback.. or was there a plugin that does this? I find the vanilla knockback not interesting enough and I need pvp to be more skill based (Example: using rods to get the first hit).

I know this plugin does what I want:

But it was dis-continued and there are messages on join that I don't want in chat.. Makes it look ugly..

Here is a updated version of that plugin for Spigot 1.9. I have not tested it yet, report any problems you have with it once it is approved (which may take several hours.)

EDIT: Actually my server is 1.7/1.8 and the plugin works. I just don't want the messages on join. The "Pro" version removes that but the author has been inactive and I don't think he is going to make the pro version any more...

Recompiled the plugin for 1.8 (which should work on 1.7). Since the plugin was not in the public domain, the file was rejected on BukkitDev. Here is a dropbox link to the plugin instead:

Are there any errors? Does it show up in the plugin list when you use /plugins? Does the console print out if the plugin has been enabled?
