Downloaded bukkit 1.7.2R02, can't open?

Hey guys, I'm having trouble creating a bukkitforge server, as I downloaded the file 1.7.2 R02 but it won't open

I have a forge server and that works great, but I want to add plugins too to protect my world from being destroyed

All my other .jar files open correctly, I have set the PATH and JAVA_HOME right too.

 

so anybody have a suggestion to this please? I have java 1.7.0_71

 

You said you dowloaded 1.7.2 R02, if it was not several month ago I suppose it is Bukkit and not Craftbukkit. Bukkit is for developers, you need Craftbukkit and that is no longer to download, for legal reason.

Where can I check for any updates on the dispute, or if there won't be one out soon, is there a replacement being worked on?

 

@Zoophilijess There are many replacements being worked on. Spigot however is still pulling through and they have a way for you to obtain a 1.8 version.
