On my server, we use community funded items to build protects, such as roads, buildings, town walls, etc. It's good, but since I'm the only admin (and I don't trust anyone enough, yet) to handle the donated items (which we store in a bank) I was thinking about how great it'd be if we had a Donate Box of sorts. Well, OK, I can make it, but others can just reach in and steal the items before I log on next time. So, I think it would be really useful if someone could code me, the admin only, to place down and create a Donation Chest. Users can come up and put stuff in it, as a donation, but they can't take any out. Also, to keep users from filling it with random stuff, could I assign what materials can be placed inside? (like, only sand, wood, cobble, etc) Thanks to anyone who's interested.
protect a piece of land, place a chest, make it so no one can reach it, make a 1x1 way lead to it and fill it up with water, download suckchests or whatever that plugin was called that makes chests suck in items and let ur users throw items into the water Thats how we managed our donation chest ^^
