Disconnected by server illegal stance (Player Model API)

Hello people. before i start, if this is in the wrong section i am sorry. anyways, I just got the player Model API Mod. and i was wondering how to get it to work for my server. It's just a server for me and my friends, but I really would like to use this mod. whenever i try to change to a different character thing, it says Disconnected by server illegal stance. whenever i change my API in singleplayer, then log in, nothing loads. just mobs and painting and i fall into the neverending void. it doesn't even kill me. So for anything to load, I have to go back into Singleplayer, change back to human, then go back into my server. So if the stance is illegal, how can i make it legal? or something. i just want it to work somehow.

If that mod is a client mod, which it sounds like it is, it's likely the server isn't set up to support it. You'd have to have a plugin to make the mod work.

As for the illegal stance....I have no idea.

 

the thing is, the mod just changes the players skin and shape. i just thought it might work.... and i really want it to!

 

MobDisguise will let you make yourself look like a mob to other players. You could try that.

 

You can't use a singleplayer mod on a multiplayer server.
