BukkitContrib is superseded by Spout, the new Bukkit/Client framework.
Where should i ask questions about the client mod?
The client mod enables hd textures,
but does is enable hd fonts and better grass from the hd patcher?
Im not sure on HD fonts, possibly. I don't think Better Grass is built in either
Do you have an Auth plugin?
It is incompatible, it's a problem on their end
which instead ? authdb doesnt work for me.. since it doesnt support burning board
It would be nice if HD Fonts and Better Grass would be implemented, cause the client plugin seems to be totally incompatible with mcpatcher .
Im not sure, you should ask for a fix, ask them to talk to me or Afforess concerning what needs to be fixed for it to work
Apparently, the problem is that BukkitContrib does a command on login.
(and probably /0.1.8 for next version)
Anyway, you need to give non-registered users the rights to use that command.

Feature Request, Caching files.
When a player joins the server with bukkitContrib installed, you can use the API to download files onto their local computer for faster reading. Maybe in the BukkitContrib Folder or where ever the developer wants. you could restrict it to just the bukkit dir.
Say i want to play some epic music when a player enters a boss room I made, I am going to have to wait for the download, that could take ages, before i can play the file. also, the user doesn't want their bandwidth being eaten up when they need it to fight the boss. Lag is not what you want.
Another thing, if you have an experience bad you want to place on the screen, you are going to need to download an image very often to cover the 50+ image exp bar. But if you could cache it, then loading the next bar would be easy.
if the player wanted to delete the cache'ed data, just delete the folder. Maybe in the API added a method to check if the file exists on the player's computer to prevent downloading it more then once.

It looks like it authenticated the player, just too slowly. You can increase the time it waits for authentification in the config.
This is actually already planned.

Tried, did not help, the user first logs in, then after 5-10 seconds of his kick from the server, after his re-entering the client confirmed, it is sometimes fierce flood chat
i tried AuthMe , and AuthDB they are compatible , but then I came across a problem with the transfer of the database from xAuth for this couple
Hey Alta, I believe in you, I'm just waiting...
On my server you have to join, login xAuth, disconnect, then rejoin for skins/capes/titles/everything to work.
Does anyone know if this is an xAuth related problem? If so, whose responsibility is it to fix it (aka who should I bug for a fix)?
