Hi there! Transfer has happened for Curseforge (main site at least and this forum) Things might have changed though! Please take a look at your account on there. If it is ForgeUser_<random stuff here> then please start watching this thread! If you have the ForgeUser stuff then you did not opt-in/out for the transfer to Overwolf. Can get fixed though. Will update you all here when a solution has been implemented. Okay, will be after the 3th of December! Timtower
I'm not sure if that happened to me, but I wasn't able to log into my account. I was able to create a new account on the same email address though. (account here on bukkit.org)
I made this account to post here, because I seem to have lost my original account. How would I get it back? My name on these forums have been changed to Forge_User_<numbers> and I cannot login to my account using my email and password. I am not sure how I would go about checking my CurseForge account if they were linked. I do not think that I was ever prompted for a transfer. I have tried to check: https://www.curseforge.com/members/<newName>/projects https://support.overwolf.com/en/support/solutions/articles/9000196375-transferring-your-account None of them seem to have any information that can help me.
Curseforge accounts can now be reclaimed! https://account-transfer.curseforge.com/ If you account is doing weird: logout, log back in. Forum accounts are coming later.
It's not working for me. I click on the URL. I click on "Transfer account information". I get redirected to "https://www.curseforge.com/". Nothing... I click on "Account Info Missing". Goto step 2. I must say that this whole thing is ridiculous.
Hey gang, @timtower is holding this leaning mess as best as he can and is not to blame. My name is Gil, from the Overwolf CurseForge team, and we will need to come up with a solution here. In the meantime, if there is a user that wasn't transferred and can message me their email account, I will try to reconnect it through the backend, but I don't have a certainty if this can work. Our devs will look into this as well, and I hope to update soon.
for CurseForge and dev.bukkit forge accounts can use the migration flow, and if that doesn't work they can contact me with Twitch ID, the Curseforge account and the original account name and I can manually merge the accounts to reactivate. Me and Timtower are still looking at the Forum issue. If you know of people that are stuck in a limbo please connect them with me - we hope we can figure this out together!
