Creepers exploding spawn?!

    Just wondering why... I'm in the spawn protection area at where you spawn, and you can't BREAK anything but CREEPER's can blow it up.. any suggestions / ideas please?

    Already use towny, don't think I need two of them, sadly I think I may.
