just replace old jar file with new jar file than edit ur bat file (rightclick it and choose edit) and change part of file name so it match new one
I have taken these steps, but when I try to start up the server, it still tries to refer to 1.2.3 and says it cannot be found

Just rename the new craftbukkit.jar to 'craftbukkit.' Some plugins won't be compatible with 1.2.4. Be sure you do/redo this basic step: http://wiki.bukkit.org/Setting_up_a_server ]
My CraftBukkit says its uptodate in the pail logs then when i try to get in its says server "OutDated" I did what the logs said to do and put the craftbukkit from the "Update" folder into the MainFolder and it still saying that. Does anyone know a link to a craftbukkit.jar for minecraft 1.2.4??? Im a noob too i need step by step. Thaxx ->->->+=+= =
