  1. Hey guys,
I just updated to build #254 tonight and all of my plugins are not working.

Here is a list of the plugins that were working until I updated.

    1. Login Message http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/in...a-broadcast-message-player-list-and-more.252/
    2. Extend Day http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-extend-day-make-day-or-night-last-longer.413/
    3. LWC http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/se...ight-inventory-protection-management-230.967/
    3. TNT-Nerf http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/tntnerf-v.647/
    4. Whitelist http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/admn-gen-whitelist-v1-8-186.587/
    5. Craftbukkit https://github.com/Bukkit/CraftBukkit

Has anyone else had problems with plugins not working on the newest build? Should I roll the build back?

I'd suggest going back to a stable build until the plugins catch up.

It's always generally an issue ^^.

I had a few issues with 252, and went back to 232 which fixed everything :[

Try turn off ExtendDay. It was making some plugins not loading for me.

  4. I tried going back to 198 and nothing would work. Should I just backup the world file, and reinstall the server then replace the world folder?

It was working just fine before I tried to update to a newer build. But I will give this a try.

Like stated above, wait for the plugin developers to catch up~

  6. Ok, quick question. I rolled my craftbukkit build back to #186 and it appears my plugins are working again, but the admin commands do not work quite right.

    The admin commands went from:

    /#list
    /#tp xxx yyy

    to

    /list
    /tp

I thought bukkit required the # symbol? Since my commands are working without the # does that mean that bukkit isn't actually running?

...I have never used # ... isn't that for comments?

  8. Yes in server configs or mod configs, but actually in the game I was told to use them for bukkit admin commands.

Weird... I've never used them for commands. And it shouldn't even work since Java uses # as comments...

  10. Ok, well thank you for your help.

Yeah it used to be /#list and /#give and now it's /list and /give.

My main problem is everytime Craftbukkit updates my permissions have to be re-written as it says it can't parse them or something similar even though they work fine when I re-write them exactly the same :S

You can't copy it because it uses FML or something... Wait... FML?... Fuck My Life? ... Ahha. Got that one now.

You shouldn't need to modify it each time a new craftbukkit comes thought. So thats weird. But you got it right, you can't copy anything from the interwebz for some reason, but copying it from the original text file should work :)

I don't copy it. It just stops working and I have to re-write it even though it worked before the update =/
