Solved Configure Bukkit?

Hi,
I just created a Bukkit server. I'd like to forward the port to 25565, do my friends in external networks can connect to the server. How do I do that? Is it in a configuration file? Because all there are are .yml s
and none of them have that configuration.
I'm using a linksys WRT54G router.

Thanks, but it doesn't show what the Bukkit config file is, or the Bukkit port.

 

You can find your bukkit port in the server.properties, but for your friends to able to join you need to forward that port as shown in the video =)

Make sure you're giving your friends your external IP address to connect to, not your internal one.
You can find you external IP address here.

Otherwise, BobbyD441 's instructions were correct - you need to port forward and you can configure your bukkit port in the server.properties file.

I just tried it. I have already forwarded my ports. The server properties only shows 25565 as the port. When my friend tried to connect, it didn't work.

And my friend is able to connect with vanilla, but not Bukkit.

And my problem was a firewall. Thanks.
