Configure bukkit.yml to use MySQL

Ok so after searching to the ends of the internet. I still cannot find how to set up the bukkit.yml file for MySQL. I'm not too familiar with SQL in general so maybe its just noob of me to have to ask. But can someone please enlighten me on how to change my bukkit.yml file to use MySQL databases. It is necessary for a plugin I wish to use. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

edit: nvm the author of the plugin is fixing it so it doesn't need mysql...

Bukkit Version... I do not know how to change it to MySQL But I am sure someone who knows will need your bukkit version.
