Plugin category: General Suggested name: CombatLevels What I want: So there is a fair amount of PvPlevel plugins, but I haven't seen one that would display a players level next to their name (nametag). It could be optional to have it shown in the tab, but mostly needed to be shown next to their nametag. Ideas for commands: No commands needed yet. Ideas for permissions: No Permissions needed yet. Hey @XxDawnsusxX, Here is a little plugin I wrote very quickly . Here is how it works: The player ranks up based on how much kills they get. When they rank up it sets a cool prefix in the chat (tab if you want) and thats pretty much it. Here is a list of numbers a player ranks up at: 11 21 31 41 51 Then It gets a little bit harder: 151 301 501 1001 2000+ Each Rankup comes with its own prefix . Sweet, i'll test it out! Alright so I've tested it, doesn't seem to do what I suggested. Nothing shows in chat or tab after 11 kills as the amount suggested for a rank. But if you are able to leave the titles out and have the levels next to their names and in tab, that would be the perfect plugin for what im looking for. A plugin on your server could be interfering with it, I'll test its compatibility when I get home. EDIT: What permissions plugin are you using? Also does anything save to config on kill, this plugin worked perfectly on my server so..
Okay so I removed all the plugins and had only this plugin enabled. It now works, just wondering (hopefully not too much to ask) if you can have a config to set the amount of kills maybe for each level up, as well as it broadcasting to the players when they do. And since it shows the levels in chat could you try to implement it next to their names. So it would show [Level] %playername. Thanks so much for making this btw!

Don't worry @timtower and @XxDawnsusxX, this new plugin is going to have lots of new features including support for all types of permission based plugins. School has been catching up to me so I am very sorry I have been inactive lately. This will be done by march 3rd hopefully March 2nd . This new plugin is going to have lots of features to make it "custom". A lot of people have requested this so do you mind when it's done that I publish it? Here are some of the new features; - pex support - configurable output messages - configurable rankups - chat colors Once again I apologize for my inactivity. This will be done asap .

@XxDawnsusxX , Great News , Almost done the things that I still need to add / fix are: - Make the config more "user friendly xD" - Fix the data.yml - And add support for pex Otherwise the plugin is looking pretty good
Sweet, just a quick verify, if you have Pex support, is there Groupmanager capability? Aswell as the levels being implemented to be shown next to nametags? (optional since it will be public for others).

@XxDawnsusxX , I have never gave up on a project and Im a little disappointed in myself for giving up on this project. With that said I will continue it . Expect a little bit of delay but I'm sure I will get this plugin done for you and the others that really want it.

Please read the procedure below because this plugin requires a little bit of navigation! Install PermissionsEx for the best results Upload the plugin to your server If you type anything in the chat you should realize that there is an error To fix the error type /setup (number of ranks you want) After you type /setup you should see a nice message in the chat Now the plugin has generated a config file for you, the column prefix is the prefix that will be displayed in the chat remember to surround color code symbols (&) with '', For example if I wanted to make a rank 1 that displayed tom I would have this text under the prefix section, '&4tom'. When a player "levels-up" a message will be displayed in large text in the middle of the screen you can edit this too Remember the chat format may look compact so take advantage of PermissionsEx's prefixes and suffixes on groups Enjoy and give me a like if this helped you <3
