Close a wood door if it's been open for too long

Just a little quality of life request. If a wood door has been open for too long, it'd be nice if there was a plugin that closed it for you.

 

I have thought about doing that. Not shure yet if I will be able to do it.

The plugin is almost done. I just need to make it possible to change how long doors should stay open

 

Anyway, that could be done for loaded chunks only.

 

You can use it to close a door a couple seconds after opening it, so you dont need to close it yourself

I did release my plugin now. It closes doors after a configurable time when players open them

if u do this u need to be careful with dubble doors or doors that stand in the other way, because they are normally open, and you close them than only it looks like exactly the other way around

 

Now that you say it, I think that my plugin wont affect reverse doors. I should check that

 

A different solution is to just place a pressure plate on the inside. You walk over it when you go out, and when you go in, and the door closes.​

 

you could, but I dont relly like pressure plates + wodden doors. not that combination anyway
