So I recently got my Bukkit server up and running yesterday, and I added a couple new plugins today. When I tried to open the server, at first I thought the server wasn't running for some reason, but after a while I realized after looking at my processes that it was running. My friends are able to join the server and play, but I can't see the Bukkit Client to make changes. I still have plenty of memory left, and removing the plugins I added, then re starting the server has the same "invisible client" effect.
What OS are you running? How are you launching the server? How are you attempting to connect to the server? I think you might be mixing up some terminology as I'm getting confused by "Bukkit Client". From what I know of Bukkit there is no such thing.
I'm running Windows 7 OS. I set up the server with this, http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/craftbukkit-auto-installer-beginners-minecraft-1-1.26555/ and I am using the crafbukkit.jar file to open the server. Connecting to the server is fine. Everyone can get on and play. I just can't see the server client itself.
I have this exact same issue. Ive been running Craftbukkit since 1.0 came out, just a small personal server. Had no issues. Loved the little GUI that would pop up when I clicked "craftbukkit.jar" Now ever since the last craftbukkit.jar update the gui frame nolonger comes up and I have no idea how to get it back. My server is running just fine in the background. I am able to log in and others are also able to log in. The little gui frame, client or whatever is the technical name is not showing up. I figured out the Technical name for what we are referring to. Its called the Bukkit Dashboard... where did it go?!?! Someone please answer or point us in the right direction, I cant find anything on it. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
