Problem/Bug Can't run server because of port.

Snce long time ago i can't open any server (at least minecraft) because something is wrong with the port.
When i try to open a server the unusual part is this:

****FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
The exepton was: java.net.BindException: Cannot assing requested adress: bind
Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

I dont have another server running. Can nayone help me?

(About 6 hours later: i checked my server.propreties and i found that i've been using wrong IP)

 

Leave the server-ip= section blank in your server.properties. It will automatically select the correct one for you.

 

Hey im having the same problem for mine and i dont know how to fix it. I left the port section empty and it changed to 25565 and then it says that it still couldnt bind the port. then i tried other ports i could think of and still nothing.
