Bukkit with solaris?

    Is it possible to use craftbukkit on solaris? its a unix based system, similar to linux but not quite. Was made the sun developers, ones who made java.

    If it runs java, i'm pretty sure it can :p

    It's nothing more than a java application lol

    personally I would use something more mainstream just because you'll have more support

    yes it is.
    centos 5.5 seems to be the most common however.
    centos6.2 may have issues (testing it now to determine if its the dedicated or the os/configuration) but yes i have had bukkit running on solaris in the past.
