Question Bukkit for Realms.

    Hey there, Bukkit staff team.


    So I was wondering just today, if there is a way to add "Bukkit" or "Spigot" to Minecraft Realms.
    I really want to use some cool plugins on it such as FBasics, Essentials, WorldEdit, Pex, (ETC)
    Is Bukkit really allowed on realms, or does Minecraft have a similar API running for Minecraft Realms
    which MAY have some plugin editing.
    I have just bought my realms subscription thinking you can add plugins but unfortunately not, so I am asking now if Bukkit runs on Minecraft realms.

    @MambaMatey Realms are a completely different kind of thing.
    Not related to Bukkit in any way as far as I know.

    As has been said, realms and bukkit are two different things. Realms is a dedicated server which cannot be modified using plugin/modding. Realms should only be thought of as a minecraft server for users who don't know how to manage a server.

    I would recommend you cancel the subscription. Not only is hosting your own server free and can be modified with plugins, but you can still join other realms servers even if you do not have a subscription (you only need to pay for your server).
