Hey all I've recently been looking into changing a plugin of mine to allow connections from an outside source via a server/client type system. The only problem im having is port forwarding (Not that I cannot port forward, its the problem of the users of the plugin). I came across this nifty library: http://code.google.com/p/portforward/ Im just wondering if this provides a good method of automatically port forwarding? Has anyone ever used such a library (Or an alternative that they could supply). Thanks
Look at the Bukkit Tools section. There is one in there that allows you to automatically port forward, provided your router support upnp.
