Are 1.6 dev builds good to use?

I know you shouldn't really use them production, but I wanna know if they are ok to use, like glitchy etc? My main plan for 1.6 was to get started on building a new world whilst waiting for a beta build of 1.6, but I know they take a while to come out, so I'm considering using a dev build until such time.

So my main question is: are the current builds decent enough for production?

Yes, I have been using the latest dev builds since shortly after 1.6 release.

 

Have encountered no major issues with 1.6 dev builds

 

The dev build is pretty glitchy, I have found a few glitches, not many though

 

I am using the 1.6.2 builds with 48 plugins and 100+ players and had no problems at all So yeah, they are good

If you are using dev builds, you should take care to stay up-to-date with the latest dev builds. At least check http://dl.bukkit.org/compare/craftbukkit/changes/ regularly to see what's changing.
