Hi! The title says everything. I want a plugin that kick/ban players for hacking!
    Leave your suggestions!
    Thanks!

That would be most Anti-Cheat plugins. You can configure them to kick/ban depending on how much they cheated.

As much as both of those Anticheat systems are awesome, they can sometimes mess up with lag and stuff, I've also noticed that AntiCheat ( Gravity ) seems to act up when players lag and throw loads of 'cheating' accusations on players that may not be actually cheating. NoCheatPlus ( asofold ) seems to call Failed visual reports with plugins like DeadBolt and Lockette and also calls false reports for laggy players.
    I wouldn't recommend having them auto-ban.
Any plugin has the tendency to 'crap up'

So what do i do? Choose a new plugin? Or change something in the config? Please answer me.

  8. Usually anti cheat plugin developers would say something like "you don't want to auto ban" :9.

Both plugins can be configured to kick / ban, as far as i know. My recommendation is not to do so, at least not before you have gathered enough experience with the plugin in action and can judge yourself what happens. This should include tests with cheat clients and compare results to "legit players". Otherwise banning or even kicking can just be punishing a random player for networking or client side lag (often can not be distinguished from certain cheats). For a part Minecraft just does not allow 100% accuracy by nature, some can be reduced or be avoided by not being as accurate.

Nowadays (top-) hack clients adapt or allow the user to adapt such that they generate minimal violations for either anti cheat plugin anyway, so with banning you can't really get anywhere with the classic checking methods, i would just get rid of the idea :).

(Only exception i say is if you tested the cheat and are rock solid sure that only cheat clients can do it, but that really needs specific testing and experience with one plugin in use).

Ok. so i use nodus and test this out?
I dont want to use cheat stuff :(.
Well nocheatplus is hard to configure anyways so can anyone help me on configuring kick/warning/ban/tempban? Because under action on lets say fastbreak it says cancel do i put what ever i want there or what do i do with action??
    Thanks!

That is one of the main issues with a Minecraft anticheat.
Fastbreak can be caused by server lag or client lag. I wouldn't set it to auto-ban.

    You're welcome?

No seriously, I would really really not recommend you having auto punishment systems.

  13. Both plugins have pages on BukkitDev, they also provide some hints on how to configure the plugins there. It should be better to ask on their site right away.
