What I want: If you know the AnimatedMOTD plugin,I want to look like that like
Features:
Text Slider (Scroll
Rainbow Colors
Variables (Faction,Prison,Health,Multiverse etc.)
Like This
And this


Ideas for commands:/as hide to hide the scoreboard and Just make it Configurable

Ideas for permissions:
as.see to see the scoreboard
as.hide to hide the scoreboard

@BlueCrafter12 Also, make sure you change all the things in the post when you copy it.

That can come off as extremely rude if they haven't read the template.

 

@Solaris_88 That like plugin but i dont have money to download it Can someone make me one so All Bukkit Players can use it

 

I would also like one that everyone could use He is a great dev, but I really do not have the money to spend on it.
I'll keep an eye on this topic

@timtower I have dealt with scoreboards before, and attempted to make scoreboards that have animated data. I am actually very impressed that their scoreboard doesn't flash when it refreshes. That is one problem I couldn't solve and I could never find the solution for that.

 

@567legodude The person that made that scoreboard is the same person that helped make the AnimatedMOTD plugin, so I would imagine that the scrolling text code would be very similar between the 2.

 

@Solaris_88 Its not the scrolling text thing that I am talking about. I am saying that each time something on the scoreboard changes, they remove that entry from the scoreboard and create a new one with a different name. And then they send that to the player.
Normally when you do something like that, the scoreboard flashes, but I want to know how they were able to do it without making the scoreboard flash.

 

But you can do the scoreboard w/o that flash thing?
And i have idea to make that
Make a Scheduler that every second (.5) its will change by in config
So the flash thing will work

@xTigerRebornx So your just saying that I shouldnt change the name of the score, but instead change the name of the prefix and suffix?

 

@567legodude From what I've gathered, yes. Making the actual score just a ChatColor makes it blank, allowing you to change the prefix/suffix without some wierd space, though some logic with the coloring is needed from prefix to suffix.

 

@xTigerRebornx Okay well that just limits you to 32 characters which should be enough for almost anything you need. I just made something and tested it and it works great.

 

@567legodude Yeah, it limits a good amount, but its worth the ability to remove flashing

Scroll yes, i dont know if support rainbow color.

You cant use rainbow color, but you can do everything else.
