Over 100,000 servers have used Buycraft over the last 2 years.
What is Buycraft, and why does my Minecraft server need it?
Buycraft enables you to sell in game items/memberships to your community, allowing yourself to fund your server bills to keep your Minecraft server alive. Buycraft is basically an online shopping cart system for your own server!
How will my players use Buycraft?
After you have created a Buycraft account, you are given an online webstore which you can use to promote your items for sale. Your players will visit this website and be able to purchase the items that they want, be it a collection of armour, or a monthly VIP membership.
What can I sell to my users, and how?
Buycraft enables you to sell ANYTHING to your users, from a collection of armour upgrades, to monthly VIP memberships. When a player purchases a product, it is automatically processed on your Minecraft server, and removes all hassle of managing payments by yourself. All these different options will take the worry out of funding your Minecraft server.
Some of the awesome features available:
    • Create donation packages which can reward your players with anything you imagine.
    • Setup advanced packages for memberships ranks, with support for automatic Paypal subscriptions.
    • Many Payment gateways supported! (Paypal, Stripe, Google Wallet, Paymentwall, 2Checkout, Onebip, Paygol, Payza, and Coinbase.)
    • Coupon codes to offer discounts to your players.
    • Run promotional sales to gain attention to certain donation packages.
    • Cumulative ranking to enable your players to upgrade their ranks.
    • Custom variables to offer advanced customisation of your packages.
    • Detailed donation statistics to see how well your server is performing.
    • Multiple webstores per account, with the ability to create sub accounts for your other moderators/administrators on your server.
    • Advanced fraud protection to prevent chargebacks.
    • Webstores available in over 8 languages.
    • You can change your webstore theme and even integrate it into your own website.
    • Everything is hosted by us, resulting in a hassle free and inexpensive way to run your own webstore! The Buycraft platform is updated regularly with many new features added each month.

Hey, Umm. I got an issue. When the Expiring Commands. It doesn't work. It doesn't even exute the command in my server. I do this for a package.

    Under the Expire Commands:
    manpromote {name} D-1

    and the Normal Commands:
tcast {name} has purchased Donator 1
    (tcast is a broadcast plugin)

And all it does is the tcast but does not promote me to the rank D-1

Couldent {input} be added and we then define what we want the user the enter for the input? Keep {name} though because of how common it is and so that the user doesn't have to define {name} multiple times. At checkout if the user selects multiple items with different inputs, it has the buyer fill them all out before finishing.

Here is an example of what I mean.
    Chillax_Team likes this.

Wait, What would happen if they used the same name as someone elses?

I don't understand your question. The {name} function would work exactly like it does already (which functions fine). We would also have a seller defined {input} function under my suggestion. That is all the difference. {input} Would purely be for additional options beyond {name}.

    Another question.
If I get many Donations, will PayPal see this as an income? So I will have to pay tax?
Also, what shall I choose, Business or Personal?

Oh sorry, my english isnt so good, so its hard to not misunderstand me. :)

Naa, I mean what if they take the same word as a nother person as the input. It would interfer.
  8. You need a premier account or above, and yes, it is classed as income, so you are required to follow the required laws in your country.

  10. Sorry but I do not understand you, whatever income at all, you have to follow relevant laws.

I'm in the UK and the only fees I pay are a few % to PayPal...
  12. To paypal yes, however in the UK if you earn over £8,400 you need to pay 20% income tax.

One thing i don't know is... is it real money or it's the money in game like the money from iconomy?
  14. Offline

Ouch! Well, my server isn't that popular yet :p

This is real money, like GPB (£) - Not in-game money, but of you are planning on getting donations set up, this is the plugin for the job ;-)
  15. We are currently updating our server hardware. Downtime should be no longer than 15 minutes.

Can this be used with multiple servers? As in I buy premium, can I use Buycraft on my survival, creative and RP servers at the same time?

If I was pex promoting someone to the rank that was 2 more up then the default, do I add pex promote twice? Because I have one that cannot handle the amount of commands and it says I have exceeded the limit. Please reply.

Edit: I would also like to know if beastnode is still sponsoring buycraft and if I can get premium for free since I use beastnode. If not, how much is premium?
  18. Offline

No, sorry. You will have to create multiple accounts for that.

I thing you can also use something like 'pex user {name} group set <group> (world)' Where {name} will be replaced with the playername by Buycraft, <group> is the group you want them to be in, and (world) is optional, and will only apply the group to the player in that specific world.
EDIT: Yes, you'll get a free copy of Buycraft when you ask Beastnode in a support ticket.

The problem is, people can just open a PayPal appeal saying that they didn't recieve their product. How can I prevent this from happening? There is no transaction ID etc...
  20. Offline

I am not sure if it's true, but if it is, here's you solution.
EDIT: It doesn't prevent it, but it helps solve it.
  21. You cant stop it, that is how paypal works and anything you sell through paypal be it through Buycraft or eBay, the customer can still open a dispute.

Would it be possible to make a package only purchaseable once per username/user?
  23. This is a good idea, yes! I will work on that tomorrow as it isnt something too complicated to implement :)

just curious if my idea can or cant be implemeted cheers

    a few things:

    1) How do I set up Coupons? or is this no longer a feature?

    2) Is it possible to integrate this into a website better than just the html buy buttons such as CSS for our webstore or more html modules for our shops on our websites? The way it seems set up now is if I use the html buttons provided, after each click it will send them to the cart? They will have to click 'back' on their browser every time to get back to the shop on the website. HTML code for 'items currently in cart' with a 'checkout' button would be nice. This way they only see the cart when they are completely done selecting what they want to purchase.... and also a 'keep shopping' link or something in the cart that sends them back to the actual website store (our website).

    3) Is it possible for someone to abuse our accounts with the server ID in the button's code and easily viewable by doing view source?
  26. 1. They are coming soon.

    2. We are going to be working on more stuff

    3. The only way for account abuse is via your API secret key (Shown no where other than to yourself on the server panel).

No one has answered my question!

How do I set my paypal account to a business so that it can do all of this?
  28. You do not need business, only premier or above.

Is there a way to do payment through just inserting a credit / debit card, without paypal, onebip, or alertpay? ALOT of my users are having trouble with this due to their inability to setup, use paypal. This would be a GREAT thing to have if possible!
  30. Offline

Ok, thanks... how do I do that, then? Is it something I need to buy from paypal?
  31. Offline

You can do exactly that if you use paypal with buycraft. You dont have to log into paypal to pay, you can push "Don't have paypal?" button below and there insert the credit card details and pay. :)
