Simply change the time and weather in seconds! Commands below
The /play command reloads the server because I cannot find a way to code in a proper pauser, I hope this doesn't cause any problems.
Commands:

• /day - Sets the time to Day
• /night - Sets the time to Night
• /sunrise - Sets the time to Sunrise
• /sunset - Sets the time to Sunset
• /pause - Stops the time
• /play - Stops stopping the time
• /sun - Makes the weather sunny
• /storm - Makes the weather stormy
• /thunder - Makes the clouds thunder
• /sthelp - Displays the list of commands
• /stversion - Displays the current version of SimpleTime

How to use:



Permission Nodes:

• simpletime.* - Allows use of all commands
• simpletime.day - Allows use of /day
• simpletime.night - Allows use of /night
• simpletime.sunrise - Allows use of /sunrise
• simpletime.sunset - Allows use of /sunset
• simpletime.sun - Allows use of /sun
• simpletime.storm - Allows use of /storm
• simpletime.thunder - Allows use of /thunder
• simpletime.rain - Allows use of /rain or /snow
• simepltime.help - Allows use of /sthelp
• simpletime.version - Allows use of /stversion

but, there is a server error when people without permission node uses any of your command instead of "you have no permission to do that" (or similar).

The same happens when an authorized person enters the /play command, when the time is not stopped. If this happens (error after /play command) I can't change time anymore, i see "it is now Night Time!", time is changed for about 1s, and then back to day again.

Without Permission plugin, non-OP players can't use commands (and it's fine) but everyone can see their commnads on chat as a normal text.

Potential bug:

I did /Pause, and it paused time for a few hours as I wanted, but when I went to another world and came back it was the middle of the day.

I'm trying to make this world so its always quite dark but not the middle of the night (still want the orange glow at the edge)

 

Before reading this, I'm using [860] and 1.6.6, so if these errors are caused because I haven't updated (yet) than ignore them.


I like this a lot so far but there are a couple things which are somewhat of big hangups:
1) On my server, even if I enable full permissions for a user, they cannot use this unless they are OP. If they have the permissions for this command, they shouldn't need to be in the OP file. [edit: I don't want some people in my OP file because then they can stop and reload the server from the command line. I just want them to be able to change the time of day when they're working by themselves.]

That's the major thing, and a slight minor thing is being unable to control this from the Console. It reports as being executed, but it has no effect on the time in game.

the last thing is if the "paused" state or time could be saved to a file when the server stops or is reloaded? It's not a big deal at all, but I just have to remember to re-enter "day && pause" again after every reload ;P

Sadly still unable to use the permissions node 'SimpleTime.*' or 'SimpleTime' or 'SimpleTime*', users are not getting an error, nothing in the server log, seems like it should work, but nothing happens

 

@zookalicious @Sneaky420 I am having issues with getting permissions to work, but trust me, im working on it. It currently only works properly with BananaPermissions.

 

/pause is not really working, after a few hours or a reconnect the time goes again.

 

The pausing system works via hash maps which I believe cannot work with muliworld because you have to stay in the world. And for the orange glow type /sunrise or /sunset

 

Sounds great, I really like this plugin and I can get by for now with being the only one able to control time, but it will be awesome once it works fully with permissions

I know how to get the orange glow, I meant I always wanted it to be like that even after I left and came back. I found a more hard-coded plugin now though (set the time in a config file instead) - Thanks anyway

 

Thank you for working on it, found your plugin after searching for awhile for one with simple commands and not messing up all my redstone devices i make (had time stopped on day before i found this)

Hope it is an easy fix and i look forward to letting my players use the plugin rather then bug me all the time lol

so have you had anyluck getting it to work with permissions or group manager yet as I am not going to d/l several permission plugins just to use this plugin, it is a very good plugin but needs to be more universal

Fixing

 

/thunder - Makes the clouds thunder
is kinda slow or doesnt work at all and its not in one of ur permissions :\

 

/play dosent work, time is freezed anyway
Redstone is weird during this time =/

 

So again, great pluin... just noticed one thing... when you type /sun, and it says the sun comes out from behind the clouds... but then you do it when it is night and there is no sun
