AdminCall - Call an Admin on the Desktop

This Plugin includes a Bukkit plugin that has the command "/admin [reason]".
Player can use that command to send a aessage to the admin.
The admin will get the Message to his Desktop, using the provided executable.
The admin can answer messages and post global server messages via the Tool,
without launching Minecraft.

Dont get confused
The Plugin (AdminCall.jar), goes into your minecraft server / plugin folder.
The executable/settings.ini goe on the Admins Computer.

The settings.ini is explained below. It configures the executable on your computer.
The servers configuration will be created when the Plugin starts for the first time. The
servers settings located in "plugins/AdminCall/config.yml", should be self-explanatory.

Importened
The Server can be Linux,Windows and every other OS that runs Java.
The Admins Computer however needs to be Windows XP or higher, in
order for the Clientside Executable to run correctly.


Features:

• /admin [REASON] - Send a message to the desktop of an admin
• The admin can reply to the message without starting Minecraft
• The admin can post global messages from the tool without launching Minecraft

Times are in ms. So "1000" is one Second.

Actually a false alarm, because the clienttool was quickly coded in Autoit.

If two admins have this running on there dekstop only one gets the msg to there desktop.
Is there anyway to get it to send the "/admin" call to all desktops running the program?

Your command conflicts with the Default Commands plugin command /admin, which enables god mode, flying, unlimited items, stuff like that. I tried going into the YML file for Default Commands that has all the command shortcuts and deleting the command /admin but it still tries giving me admin powers whenever I type /admin ingame. I tried restarting the server. The admin command was not added back into the YML file for Default Commands

will be online soon but now gives a message at my pc like Thomas says Help me :O and thats really nice, it didnt work with standard config :S but , an idea : Make color code for the admin name
(port and ip need your own port and ip xD)

 

I am back again with a new PC.
So I guess you can expect a new Version if I have the Time.

 

if you host from another computer can you then get it to go on your computer?

 

Please look into making a Java version before adding new features. This would be paramount for my server as I am rarely on when issues arise. Thanks!

If so is this plugin able to send the /admin [question] message to multiple admins??

The owner of the server and me(the admin) both have the plugin, but if I run it I do get the message and the owner doesn't. And we both need to get the message.
