I had this plugin done before. It's very simple. If anyone can do it, that would be great. Basics: This will work by using the ping sent by Minecraft client server lists. When a player uses direct connect, it doesn't ping the server. Features: Once player pings server, it will run a command for them once they log on using their ip. Multiple commands Color notifications asking the player to add this server to their server list that dissapear once the player has added the server. If anyone can do this, that would be great.
timtower would be buggy with people from same ip but probably getting the ip of the person who pinged it then checking where a player logged in from
You can do the command part easily, but sure ill agree that the second part is not possible. Edit: Just read it more carefully, this is possible.
Well, it is not possible to add the server to the list automatically, if anybody says otherwise: Show how without client mods
Read it closer, the request is not to add it automatically at all. He just wants a message in chat saying something like "Hey put our server in your server list and you'll get cool rewards" or something. Then when they do, that message will not be sent to the player. And the first part was to run a command when they've put it in their list. Both are possible.

mc.engammacraft.com I needed a way to get players to stay on my server. This came to my mind. Sometimes I just have my moments too. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Well, if they are using direct connect, they will easily be able to forget the server, but if they add it, they will always have it.
Still, if I play more than 1 time on a server I save it, but if the server isn't fun to play on anymore I will go to another server, saving the server doesn't mean anything
The plugin, I went on the server today and talked to G HOMIE, and he confirmed the plugin didn't work. I can try it tomorrow and see if I get any errors if that helps
I think saving a server means something. But for people like my girlfriend (she has over 100 servers) it would mean nothing.
