Add a toggle to this

    Hello :3
A while back I had someone make me a grappling hook plugin. Unfortunately the creator was unable to add a toggle function to the plugin. I was wondering if someone could add /grapple on /grapple off commands to turn on and off the grapple function. It would also be nice if the grapple function was default on when you log in, or whatever you had it set to when you logged off.

Here's the download link for the current plugin: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wmcj3ol0o04c1s3/Grapplehook.jar

    Much thanks [pig]

Unless you can provide the source code it would be pretty difficult with only the jar file.

    Maybe impossible.

    Decompile it.

I always forget that's possible for java. Not used to it. Easily doable then, but my plate is full, I can't work on any more plugins right now.

Would you like it to be a command?

    /grapple on
    /grapple off
    Looks like commands.

Herp derp, failed to read that, also too lazy to check for args, made it a toggle.

    Here you go! :D

The command is /grapplehook, and its a toggle so no need for on or off.

You know, the developer didn't give you the permission to decompile it.

Isnt it allowed to decompile, but not use the source without original author's permission?

Nobody said who the dev was :(
No author stated in the plugin.yml either.

How did you check the plugin.yml without having the actual java project?
EDIT: I've never decompiled anything so idk =/

Because the plugin.yml is in the .jar...

    Thank you :D

The person who originally made this plugin is XbannisherX
Also, I asked him if he would be cool with me doing this before posting.

    Thanks again!

Decompiling and not using the source, pointless, even if you're looking at the code, you still send it to your brain. Therefore using it.

    Not really.
If i look at someones elses code, it isnt illegal. I just learn from it.
That doesnt mean im stealing it.
