About Plugins..

    Okay. I was just wondering... Plugins are only a few KB. Why should I worry about keeping things lightweight on a RAMDisk. Is it because the plugin itself uses Java Memory... Or?

    A plugin's size does not indicate how much RAM it will use.

    Also, the main speed benefit of a RAMdisk is that is stores the map in RAM, because HDD I/O is a bottleneck.
